Delete your account & data
You’re always in control of your data. Here’s how to remove it.
Delete it yourself, in the app
The fastest way — it takes effect immediately:
- Open the WatchMyRide app and sign in.
- Tap your profile icon (top-right) → Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete Forever.
Or request deletion by email
Don’t have the app installed anymore? Email contact@watchmyride.in from the address on your account (or include your registered email/plate). We’ll verify it’s you and delete your data within 7 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and profile
- All your registered vehicles
- Your QR identities — each linked code is permanently retired so the sticker goes dead
- Your alert history and notifications
- Your emergency (ICE) information and saved contacts
This cannot be undone.
What we may keep (briefly)
We may retain minimal records required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or accounting reasons (for example, an order/transaction record, or a de-identified event that a QR code was retired) for as long as the law requires, after which they are removed. These records don’t identify you for marketing or product use.
